Materially inspired by French plaster designs of the 1930’s and characteristic of its namesake. The Oeuf Lamp takes references from the form, scale and fragile texture of a duck egg. Drawing on this concept further, the subtle dip in the lamp base is suggestive of an egg cup and saucer and adds refinement to the design.
Hand crafted by skilled artisans in Melbourne, Australia, the Oeuf Lamp was originally designed for a nursery and is now available with a selection of shades, each of which alter the overall look and feel of the lamp.

This product is handmade and made to order. Slight irregularities in size, finish and texture, reflect the artisan nature of the product, and are something we embrace. Owing to the natural properties of plaster each piece develops its own patina. Air bubbles may occur and vary in size and shape.
Usage and Care:
Plaster is a delicate material, please hold the lamp from its base and stem and handle your with care.
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners and abrasives.
